This jewelry
was inspired by the numerous medical procedures I've endured.
When I had a screw removed from
my ACL, What to do with this piece of titanium that lived in my
body for two years? The result is below.

The ring was textured on concrete (the thing that lead to my knee
surgery). The ring holds garnets, sewn in with silver wire. The top
sports a Milagros
of a leg I cut from sterling. It just fits inside the titanium
screw. I wear my ring on a chain.
Send me your removed medical
devices, and I'll create a unique piece for you--a ring, a bracelet, a
necklace--you name it!
